Dentists' Office of Hudson Valley in Lake Katrine, NY is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative setting.

The role offers full-time hours with a Monday–Saturday schedule, competitive hourly pay ($18–$24) and a benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, a 401(k), and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• 1 year on-the-job experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection-control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Clinical support: prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient care: welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & diagnostics: take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & safety: ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and intake.
• Assist dentist in managing dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency directory.
