Responsibilities include taking records, impressions and x-rays; using Dentrix to update electronic patient records; sterilizing instruments and preparing trays; assisting in oral surgery, periodontics and endodontics; and supporting the hygienist as needed.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of dental assistant experience.
• Strong customer service and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Taking records, impressions, and x-rays.
• Using Dentrix to update electronic patient records.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment; prepare trays for procedures; educate patients on oral care.
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
• Assist in oral surgery, periodontics and endodontics.
• Support the hygienist; cleanup and room setup; manage supplies inventory.
