Job summary

Lumio Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Ballwin, MO. This position supports doctors, assists with chairside care, and participates in ongoing education and mentorship programs. Hours are Mon-Tu 8-5, Wed-Th 7-4, with Fridays off.

Responsibilities include taking X-Rays, recording patient histories, performing hygiene routines, applying fluoride, and creating temporary restorations. Benefit options include health, vision, dental, life, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Experience or student seeking first opportunity welcomed.
• Comfortable working shoulder-to-shoulder with doctors to deliver chairside care.

Responsibilities

• Expose dental diagnostic X-Ray.
• Record treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth with dental instruments and perform cleaning/polishing of appliances.
• Apply a protective fluoride coating to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
