United Dental Corporation on the Upper East Side is seeking a dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and take dental radiographs in line with state requirements.

This full-time role offers $20–$25 per hour, benefits eligibility for those scheduled 30+ hours weekly, and opportunities for growth within a multi-specialty practice.

Competenze

• Active Dental Assistant Certification or Registration required.
• CPR/BLS Certification current.
• Dental radiology certification may be required by state.

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Assistthe dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
• Sterilize andmaintainclinical equipment
• Take dental radiographsin accordance withstate regulations
• Support patient flow and provider efficiency
• Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
• Maintainaccuratepatient records and clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Provide an outstanding patient experience from check-in to check-out
• Active Dental Assistant Certification or Registration
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Dental radiology certification (if required by state)
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
• Strong communicationand patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred

• EFDA Certification (where applicable)
• Coronal Polishing Certification
• Sealant Certification
• Experience with digital radiography
• Experience with dental software and electronic health records
• Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments? (Check: No, ensure proper closing)
• Bilingual skills (if applicable to market)
