A leading healthcare provider in New York is seeking a Dental Assistant to support patient care and assist dentists. Responsibilities include taking x-rays and performing clinical duties. Qualifications

• One year of Dental Assistant experience required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to provide rotating weekend coverage based on operational need.
• Formal Dental Assistant training or certification Preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentist and patients with care.
• Perform clinical duties related to patient care.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Will be expected to provide support to other clinics if needed.
• Will assist Dentists in the performance of general Orthodontics procedures on patients.
• Takes and develops dental x-rays, follows Montefiore’s infection control and documentation guidelines.
• Must be able to support at nearby Montefiore dental clinic if needed on rare occasions.
• Ability to provide rotating weekend coverage based on operational need is a MUST.
