Job summary

Norfolk Dental Assistant School, part of Zollege Healthcare Career School, is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor to lead a 12-week hands-on clinical program in Norfolk, VA. The position runs Saturdays 7:00am–6:15pm with breaks; in-person teaching.

You'll demonstrate chairside procedures, radiology basics, and safety; coach students; give feedback; uphold infection control and a supportive learning environment. Prior teaching experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience (DA, RDA, or EFDA welcome).
• Active Radiology Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience.
• Able to commute to location(s).

Norfolk Dental Assistant School is hiring a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor for our ongoing 12-week hands-on clinical training programs.

• Schedule: Saturdays, 7:00am - 6:15pm (breaks included). Note: teaching schedule may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability.


• Location: Norfolk, VA (In-Person)


• Compensation: $21-$24/hr, depending on experience.
