Job summary

Lexington Dental Assistant School, part of Zollege Healthcare Career School, is hiring a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor for our 12-week hands-on clinical training programs in Lexington, KY.

Schedule: Saturdays, 7:00am – 6:15pm (breaks included). Location: Lexington, KY 40324 (In-Person). Compensation: $21–$24/hr, depending on experience.

You’ll demonstrate chairside procedures, teach radiology, coach students, provide feedback, maintain safety, and foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience (DA/RDA/EFDA welcome).
• Active Radiology Certification is required.
• CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly.
• Willingness to commute to Lexington, KY.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques.
• Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols.
• Coach students during hands-on lab practice.
• Provide performance feedback and skills assessments.
• Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards.
• Foster a supportive, structured learning environment.
