Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Post-secondary diploma is required; training in a state-licensed school or regionally accredited college.
• 3 years of related practical work experience in the occupational field.
• Expanded Function Dental Assistant Certifications with Florida Radiology; DANB or CDA equivalent.
• Direct and specialized knowledge in the area of instruction is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives in a clear, concise manner.
• Foster and maintain an orderly, safe learning environment in classrooms and labs.
• Prepare training aids, tools, and equipment for instruction.
• Maintain curriculum accuracy by staying current with industry standards.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practicals.
• Provide feedback and support to help students succeed academically and professionally.
• Identify at-risk students and create individualized success plans to mitigate attrition.
• Build rapport with students and clinical partners to support learning outcomes.
• Provide regular reporting to stakeholders and meet with education personnel as needed.
• Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on topics, diagnostic procedures, equipment operation and troubleshooting.
