Job summary

UEI College is seeking a Dental Assistant Instructor at our Garden Grove campus to deliver quality instruction and help students develop essential clinical and soft skills for a successful career in dentistry. The role emphasizes hands-on teaching, patient safety, and alignment with California dental regulations.

Teaching experience is welcomed but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience is not required; training will be provided.
• Thirty-six months combined related industry and/or teaching experience.
• In California, RDA license with 3 years experience and required certifications (X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, Pit & Fissure) are needed.
• In Florida, EFDA is required unless CODA-accredited graduate. Georgia requires CDA/EDDA/EFDA or 3 years experience.
• In Arizona, AZ Board-approved radiology certificate is required.

Thirty-six Months Combined Related Industry And/or Teaching Experience.

• California Applicants: An applicant must be an RDA licensee for 3 years and maintain valid, current RDA license throughout employment in California. A Minimum of 3 years of experience in the dental field and RDA License is required for California schools. Must have X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, and Pit and Fissure certifications.
• Florida Applicants: EFDA is required for Florida based schools, unless the individual graduated from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited school. A Minimum of 5 years of experience is required for Florida schools.
• Georgia Applicants: CDA/EDDA/EFDA certificate or 3 years of experience is required for Georgia schools.
• Arizona Applicants: Must possess an AZ Board-approved certificate in Radiology.
