Job summary

United Education Institute is seeking a Dental Assistant Instructor to deliver quality instruction and help students develop essential clinical and soft skills for employment. The role emphasizes hands-on teaching, student support, and adherence to certification standards across states.

Candidates must hold RDA licensure in California with 3+ years of dental experience, plus state-specific certifications. Training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• CA RDA license and C39 three-year licensing requirement.
• X-ray, coronal polishing and pit-and-fissure certifications are required in respective states.
• Combined industry and/or teaching experience totaling at least three years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality dental assisting instruction and develop technical and soft skills in students.
• Support students throughout their education journey to help them achieve job readiness.

Education

RDA license (CA) for 3 years

X-Ray certification (CA)

Coronal Polishing certification

Pit and Fissure certification

EFDA (Florida) required for Florida schools

CDA/EDDA/EFDA or 3 years experience (Georgia)

AZ Radiology certificate (Arizona)

36 months combined related industry/teaching experience

We will train***California Applicants: An applicant must be an RDA licensee for 3 years and maintain valid, current RDA license throughout employment in California. A Minimum of 3 years of experience in the dental field and RDA License is required for California schools. Must have X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, and Pit and Fissure certifications.Florida Applicants: EFDA is required for Florida based schools, unless the individual graduated from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited school. A Minimum of 5 years of experience is required for Florida schools.Georgia Applicants: CDA/EDDA/EFDA certificate or 3 years of experience is required for Georgia schools.Arizona Applicants: Must possess an AZ Board-approved certificate in Radiology.Thirty-six months combined related industry and/or teaching experience.
