Job summary

Iowa Street Dental Group is seeking a dental assistant learner to grow with a team of experienced professionals in Lawrence, KS. You will learn to perform basic duties under direct supervision, participate in infection control, radiographs, and charting while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

As you train, you’ll contribute to a positive patient experience and gain exposure to dental assisting duties, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K, plus education support and PTO.

Qualifications

• No prior dental experience is required.
• Customer services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under the dentist's supervision.
• Assist with infection control, radiographs and patient care prep as directed.
• Record treatment notes in the digital chart and coordinate with front desk.
• Comply with all state and federal regulations including OSHA and HIPAA.
