The Dental Assistant role at Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions supports correctional healthcare teams by documenting and assisting in dental procedures, taking intra-oral x-rays, and maintaining dental equipment and supplies. You will help ensure high standards of patient care within a secure facility.

Candidates should have an Associate’s degree or dental certification, plus prior experience as a Dental Technician or Registered Dental Assistant, and CPR/state certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Requires an Associate’s Degree or Certification in Dental Technology.
• Experience in a private or public dental practice as a Dental Technician or Registered Dental Assistant.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
• Must attain and maintain all State mandated certifications or trainings.

Aufgaben

• Provides chair-side assistance during dental procedures and sterilizes instruments.
• Performs intra-oral and extra-oral x-rays, develops and mounts films.
• Maintains x-ray equipment, processor, autoclave, and dental units.
• Manages inventory of supplies and equipment, orders supplies and sets up trays.
• Completes daily instrument count and maintains cleanliness of the dental clinic.
