Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and applicable state license.
• Active dental x-ray certification if required by state.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Manage infection control – sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns as needed.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Handle various office tasks and collaborate with the team.
