Job summary

MetroHealth System’s Ohio City Family Dentistry seeks a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering high-value care to patients from children to adults. The role emphasizes safe, efficient, compassionate service and alignment with MetroHealth’s mission.

You must complete a dental assisting program or have relevant experience, hold Ohio radiographer license or obtain within 90 days, and maintain BLS. On-site with potential overtime and satellite-site travel.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Possess a current Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer license or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• Possess a current BLS certificate through the American Heart Association or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• Willing to work according to the job assigned and overtime requirements as needed (days, evenings, weekends, satellite visits).

Responsibilities

• Supports the clinical provider(s) in the delivery of high value dental care to children through adult patient populations.
• Assists in providing a system which will deliver services efficiently, effectively, and safely with care and compassion.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Education

Graduate of a Dental Assisting program

1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant

Graduate of a foreign accredited dental or hygiene school
