Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting during procedures, sterilization, chairside support, radiographs, and coordinating referrals while ensuring compliance with infection control and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of work experience as Dental Assistant I.
• Current CDA certification by the Dental Assisting National Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dental procedures by transferring instruments, retracting, evacuating the oral cavity, and assisting with sedation as needed.
• Prepare tray setups, organize supplies, and maintain patient records.
• Schedule appointments and manage records; ensure careful documentation and confidentiality.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies; maintain operatory cleanliness and sterility.
• Take and process radiographs under supervision, adhering to safety protocols.
