Qualifications

• Completion of certified dental assistant training program.
• Radiographic certification required.
• Coronal Polishing is a plus, but not required.
• 18+ months of clinical experience as a dental assistant required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure equipment is ready for dentists.
• Knowledge of oral anatomy and dental terminology.
• Understand crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals and implants.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process X-rays of patients.
• Perform lab tasks as instructed.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage intake.
• Advise patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payments.
• Handle general administrative duties to maintain the practice.
