Job summary

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant II to support dentists in delivering exceptional patient care. You will assist chairside, maintain operatory inventory, ensure sterilization, and prepare treatment rooms and materials in a fast-paced practice.

Qualifications

• Certified dental assistant with NC X-ray certification and high school diploma.
• Must be able to lift 15–20 lbs and work in a fast-paced dental setting.
• Proactive, organized, and able to communicate clearly with patients and dentists.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during patient care.
• Reinforce preventive care instructions to patients.
• Seat and prepare patients for treatment.
• Support patients during procedures while keeping them comfortable.
• Clean and disinfect operatories after each procedure.
• Prepare tray setups and sterilize instruments.
• Take preliminary impressions as needed.
• Monitor lab cases and ensure readiness for appointments.
• Maintain accuracy of the lab tracking system.
• Manage dental supply inventory and operatory readiness.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety policies.
• Assist with obtaining 5-star Google reviews through excellent service.
