Hourly Rate: $22.34 - $24.28
On-call Dental Assistant position available for our Vancouver - Salmon Creek Dental Clinic. Candidate will assist the dental provider in the delivery of dental procedures allowed by the WA State Dental Practice Act. Responsibilities include assisting in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery procedures, and other procedures permitted by law. On-Call Dental Assistants must be willing to work Saturdays.
Candidates with previous ortho experience are preferred.
As a Dental Assistant II, applicant must have completed a formal Dental Assistant program and have at least 6 months of work experience. Without formal training, a minimum of 18 months of experience is required.
As a Dental Assistant III, applicant must be knowledgeable of sterilization methods, OSHA regulations, and able to perform radiographs, temporary restorations, impressions, and other procedures. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required; without formal training, at least 3 years of experience is necessary.
