Job summary

Advantage Dental+ in the United States is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our patient-first, teamwork-driven practice. You’ll provide chair-side support, education, operatory setup and X-ray processing, and help deliver an outstanding patient experience at every step of care.

A radiology certification is required, and completion of a dental assisting program or enrollment in our training program is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program or enrollment in our internal training program.
• Radiology certification required.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience at all phases of their appointment
• Take and process X-Rays as prescribed by the Dentist
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files at the direction of the Dentist
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health
• Work collaboratively with the team on all areas of the practice
