Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to provide clinical support, assist dentists, and help maintain smooth patient flow. You’ll greet patients, prepare treatment rooms, expose radiographs, and ensure infection control.

This role requires knowledge of dental procedures, CDA or state licensure, strong verbal skills, and a team-oriented approach to delivering quality care to patients in a fast-paced dental practice.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• CDA preferred.
• Must hold required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Strong verbal skills and a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA compliance
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs
