Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state dental practice act.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to provide excellent patient comfort.
• Review health histories to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms safely following protocols.
• Manage inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Implement Heartland Dental systems for efficient office workflow.
