Job summary

Network of Missouri Dental Providers is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience and building Patients for Life. The role covers patient prep, radiographs, charting, sterilization, tray setups, and cross-functional coordination with front and back office teams.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a dental assisting certificate. Travel to multiple offices may be required; a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma and mandated state certification.
• Specialty dental assistants may require travel and a valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to work across multiple offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions in line with state per-dmitted duties for dental auxiliaries.
• Participate in PPE and keep patients focused on treatment needs.
• Escort patients to front desk and introduce team members.
• Coordinate with front/back office to keep orthodontist schedule smooth.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, cheerful environment.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments; clean operatories per guidelines.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist accordingly.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral photos efficiently.
• Prepare tray setups and restock operatory supplies.
• Keep mouths dry using suction and related devices.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Record charting and clinician notes in the digital chart.
• Present treatment records and health history to clinician.
• Ensure equipment is maintained; support supplies management.
• Participate in morning huddles and team meetings.
• Demonstrate company values and brand guidelines.
