You will prepare treatment rooms, assist the dentist in procedures, maintain infection control, take digital radiographs where certified, educate patients, and keep accurate records in a modern private practice.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dental assisting experience.
• Current Massachusetts dental assisting requirements/certifications, as applicable.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and clinical procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.
• Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Take digital radiographs (as permitted by certification).
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized.
• Provide outstanding customer service while creating a positive patient experience.
