Gentle Dental Downtown Portland is seeking a dependable Dental Assistant to support the clinical team and deliver an exceptional patient experience. The role is based in our Downtown Portland office, offering a collaborative environment with access to training and resources from a larger dental organization.

We look for candidates with an accredited dental assisting program and CPR/BLS certification, with additional certifications (X-Ray, Expanded Functions, or RDA) potentially increasing

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited dental assisting program is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• X-Ray Certification may increase starting pay.
• Expanded Functions certification may increase starting pay.
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) accreditation may increase starting pay.

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical team during procedures and patient care.
• Ensure a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant dental assisting workspace.
• Engage in ongoing training and team collaboration.
