As a Dental Assistant, you will support the clinical needs of patients and doctors, take x-rays, prepare operatory, monitor patient flow, maintain infection control, educate patients on oral hygiene, and collaborate with the team to deliver excellent care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification if required.
• Ability to work with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and fabricate temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
