Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinical needs and patient care. This full-time position offers training, competitive compensation, and flexible scheduling within a world-class DS0 environment.

You will assist in procedures, take x-rays, manage infection control, educate patients, and collaborate with the practice team to ensure patient satisfaction. Prior licensing and state-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license/registration; X-ray certification if required by state.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
