Aspen Dental in Athens, GA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians, take x-rays, prep rooms, and manage patient flow. You will receive training, competitive pay, and a benefits package under a world-class DSO.

This role emphasizes infection control, patient education, and teamwork to deliver excellent care. Eligible applicants include those with a state license or permit and x-ray certification where required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active license/permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification if required.
• Strong communication and teamwork for patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist during a variety of dental treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
