The Smilist in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing practice and support high-quality patient care. You will help keep patients focused on treatment, maintain a clean, sterile environment, and assist doctors to ensure efficient, quality dental care.

Ideal candidates have active NJ X-ray licenses, experience as a dental assistant, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have active NJ X-ray license and dental assistant experience.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment and procedures.
• Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus, not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment and address concerns.
• Maintain sterile, clean environment and assist doctors.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supply levels in each operatory.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
