Job summary

West Coast Dental Administrative Services Llc in Riverside, CA is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our California-based DSO team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, assisting providers while ensuring efficiency and CA regulatory compliance.

The role requires Active California Dental Assistant certification, CPR/BLS, and 1+ year of experience; knowledge of Denticon is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active California Dental Assistant certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Experience with Denticon or similar dental software preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments.
• Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take digital X-rays in compliance with CA radiology standards.
• Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately.
• Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance.
• Support front office when needed to enhance patient experience.
