Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for American Family Dentistry Kirby Quince in Memphis. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant and may include new Registered Dental Assistant graduates who are motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.

You will support patients throughout their dental journey, assist during procedures, manage records in Dentrix, and help maintain a safe, efficient clinical environment. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Open to meeting new Registered Dental Assistant graduates who are motivated and eager to learn.
• Certification as a dental assistant is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and support patient education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (e.g., iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures per state practice act.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place orders; support office workflow with Heartland Dental systems.
