Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Current Oregon Dental Radiology Certification.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Ability to maintain credentialing and background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and dental materials for patient care.
• Obtain and update patient health histories and vital signs as appropriate.
• Expose and process dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and infection prevention standards.
• Assist with emergency and urgent dental visits.
• Review and complete patient documentation, consents, and treatment plans.
• Provide patients with oral health education and post-operative instructions.
• Ensure operatories and clinical areas remain clean, organized, and stocked.
• Support providers and team members in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
