Job summary

Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and dental hygienists. You will perform chair-side assistance, prepare patients for examinations, and handle receptionist duties as part of a busy dental department.

The role requires at least two years of dental assisting experience and a Registered Dental Assistant certification. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic dental records is expected; English and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least two years of dental assisting experience.
• Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant is required.
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for oral health care.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office; experience with electronic dental records.
• English and Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for procedures.
• Provide instruments and materials as directed by the operator.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control practices.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment per protocol.
• Order and restock dental supplies and manage appointments.
• Register patients, check in, and collect payments.
• Maintain patient files and confidential information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
