Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active dental assistant license/registration as per state.
• X-ray certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of dental treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays and intraoral scans.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns; assist with impressions/bite registrations.
• Support patient charting for doctors; handle office tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.
