Job summary

Stonecreek-Dental-Care in Birmingham, AL is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant for a full-time with benefits role. The position runs Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, with an hourly rate commensurate with experience.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of paid Dental Assistant experience, be comfortable with chairside 4-handed dentistry, and maintain precise clinical notes while delivering excellent patient service and safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year minimum paid Dental Assistant experience.
• Experience with chair side 4-handed dentistry.
• General DA experience is preferred.
• OSHA and HIPAA understanding and ability to comply with office, state and dental board rules and regulations to ensure patient safety.
• Good written communication skills to ensure clinical notes are completed accurately and in compliance with office policies.
• Excellent customer service required to ensure patients feel welcome to decrease any dental anxiety.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions and anticipate the dentist's needs during treatment to ensure procedures are completed in a timely fashion.
• Capture x-rays of diagnostic quality in an efficient time manner.
• Complete clinical notes accurately and in compliance with office policies.
