Job summary

A mobile dental care provider in Houston is seeking a Dental Assistant. You'll support Dentists in providing comfortable care to patients in assisted living facilities and homes. Responsibilities include preparing patients, taking X-rays, and assisting with treatments. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, state dental assistant certification, and strong interpersonal skills. Qualifications

• Must be over 25 years old, with a State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Willing & able to lift and transport dental equipment & supplies.
• Comfortable driving a minivan for mobile visits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure comfort.
• Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology.
• Assist with cleanings, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
• Maintain accurate dental records and ensure compliance.
• Transport and maintain dental equipment and supplies.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of our mobile care team, working closely with Dentists and Hygienists to provide high-quality, comfortable care to patients. Your role will include:

• Preparing patients for dental procedures and ensuring they feel at ease
• Taking and developing dental X-rays using digital imaging technology
• Assisting with cleanings, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote oral health
• Maintaining accurate dental records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Transporting, setting up, and maintaining dental equipment and supplies for mobile visits
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene and post‑treatment care
• Driving a company‑provided minivan (or your own, if needed) to patient locations
