Bravo Smile | Macadam Ave in SW Portland seeks a motivated dental assistant to support the dentist, prep treatment rooms, take X-rays, and ensure a clean, safe environment. We value patient care, teamwork, and growth.

Qualifications

• CPR and AED certification required.
• X-ray certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Take and process dental X-rays and perform basic imaging.
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols.
• Greet and prepare patients and explain procedures.
• Provide excellent patient service and education.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting.
• Operate Dentrix and Dexis software (training provided).
• Assist with expanded functions as permitted by Oregon law.
• Help with inventory, supply orders, and lab case management.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive office culture.

Pay

• $27 - $32 per hour
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday (flexible, no weekends!)

Requirements

• License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, X-ray / Radiography Certification
• Dental Assistant experience preferred (minimum 1 year; new grads encouraged to apply)
• X-ray certification (required)
• CPR and AED certification (required)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control
• Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis software helpful (training provided)
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to multitask in a busy practice
• Strong attention to detail and desire to provide exceptional patient care
