Job summary

Harmony Dental Group in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused team. The role offers hourly pay between $20 and $27 and a schedule of about 30–34 hours per week with growth potential.

The ideal candidate has CPR/BLS certification, completion of an accredited dental assistant program, and strong communication and aseptic skills. You will support procedures, take radiographs, educate patients, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred and one year minimum work experience.
• Current CPR certification (BLS).
• Basic life support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take dental radiographs
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records
• Take and record patients' vital signs
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
• Follow aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection

Shift & Schedule

• Expected hours: 30 – 34 per week

Requirements

• License & Certification: Basic life support
