• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene.
• Maintain patient records and assist with charting.
• Manage dental supplies and inventory for efficient stock levels.
• Provide exceptional patient care and comfort throughout visits.
• Perform other administrative or clinical duties as assigned.

Pay

Requirements

• License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic life support
• Current Dental Assistant registration/certification as required by Washington State regulations.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable and punctual.

Preferences

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a general or specialty dental practice.
• Recent graduates from an accredited Dental Assisting program are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Description

• Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of dental procedures, performing four-handed dentistry effectively.
• Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterile and readily available.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring patient safety and diagnostic quality.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and infection control guidelines.
• Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene instructions, and answer their questions clearly and kindly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting.
• Manage dental supplies and inventory, ensuring efficient stock levels.
• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their visit.
• Perform other administrative or clinical duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager.
