Job summary

Endodontic Associates- Trussville is seeking a Dental Assistant with Front Office responsibilities to blend chairside care with front desk duties. You will support endodontic procedures, manage patient flow, scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry to ensure a smooth patient experience.

We value reliable, friendly team players who communicate clearly and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, with X-ray certification preferred and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dental assisting and/or front desk experience preferred.
• X-ray certification is highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with computer-based tasks and dental software.
• Friendly, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict protocols.
• Take X-rays and digital scans as needed.
• Document patient information accurately in chart notes and software systems.
• Ensure patients feel welcome, comfortable, and informed throughout their treatment.
• Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow.
• Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect payments.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with updating medical history forms.
• Support daily office operations to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
