Family Health Centers at NYU Langone Health in Brooklyn, NY, invites applications for a Dental Assistant - Temp - Fulltime. The role supports the dentist across operatory and specialty areas, practicing four-handed dentistry and maintaining infection control in line with OSHA standards.

You will prepare rooms, expose and mount radiographs, sterilize instruments, document patient records, and ensure patient comfort while awaiting care.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year experience of chairside dental assisting.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required at hire and maintained.

Responsabilidades

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist using four-handed dentistry and sterile techniques.
• Take, expose, develop and mount radiographs when applicable.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and handpieces following infection control guidelines.
• Document patient records as dictated by the dentist and prepare charts and forms.
• Maintain a clean and organized operatory and ensure patient comfort while waiting.
