Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and patients. You will assist during procedures, take x-rays, set up and break down operatory, and help ensure smooth patient flow with emphasis on infection control and patient education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license or permit and x-ray certification if required by state.
• Ability to work with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
