Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinical needs and partner with doctors to deliver high-quality patient care. You will receive training, contribute to patient flow, and help maximize career potential within a collaborative, community-focused practice.

The role includes taking radiographs, preparing operatory, and assisting during treatments while upholding infection control standards and delivering education on oral health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license/permit and x-ray certification as required by state.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team to provide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of dental treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory after treatment.
• Support patient handoffs and manage patient flow.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments/equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
• Perform denture relines and temporary crowns as needed.
• Conduct impressions and bite registrations; perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support charting for doctors.
• Perform office tasks as necessary; collaborate with team to ensure patient satisfaction.
