Opti Staffing Group is hiring a Dental Assistant for our boutique dental practice in Anchorage, AK. Compensation ranges from $22 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Join a team that values professionalism, collaboration, and delivering exceptional patient care. You will assist the dentist, manage instrument sterilization, and maintain patient records using Dentrix/Open Dental/Eaglesoft while ensuring OSHA/HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous Dental Assistant experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures.
• Experience with Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft is a plus.
• Familiarity with 3D scanners is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control standards.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
• Assist with appointment coordination and follow-up scheduling.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all infection control and safety protocols.
• Support the clinical team with additional duties as needed to ensure efficient daily operations.
