Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; active license/permit as required by state; x-ray certification if required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to connect with patients of all ages
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of dental treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow
• Maintain infection control – sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns
• Perform impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure patient satisfaction
