Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant in Washington East Wenatchee. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and a supportive team focused on patient care.

You will assist during procedures, take dental x-rays, set up and breakdown operatory after treatment, manage infection control, educate patients on oral hygiene, and support charting and office tasks. Growth opportunities are available within a collaborative practice.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to provide patient care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; X-ray certification if required by state.
  • Active license/registration/permit as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Take dental x-rays.
  • Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
  • Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
  • Manage infection control—prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
  • Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
  • Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
  • Perform digital intraoral scans.
  • Support patient charting for doctors.
  • Perform various office tasks as necessary.
  • Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
