Job summary

Aspen Dental in Stockton, CA is hiring a Part-time Dental Assistant (3 days per week) to support clinicians and keep patient flow smooth. You will assist during procedures, manage operatory setup, and ensure sterilization and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification required by state.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Maintain CE requirements and state expanded functions certifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct DA office team to maintain patient flow throughout the day.
• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and ensure proper sterilization.
• Follow OSHA/HIPAA compliance and safety requirements.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Educate patients on post-treatment oral care.
• Order and maintain supplies within the practice budget.
• Prepare trays and operatory setup for procedures.
