Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant in Massachusetts to support the clinical team and patients. This full-time role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package with growth and ongoing training opportunities.

You will assist during procedures, take dental X-rays, maintain a sterile operatory, educate patients on oral hygiene, and help manage patient flow and charting. A high school diploma and an active license/permit are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active license/permit as required by the state; X-ray certification if needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Manage infection control—sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.
