Job summary

Dental Views is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support dentists and the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare rooms, handle instruments, manage patient flow, and maintain strict infection-control protocols.

The role requires relevant certifications (radiography, BLS/CPR) and strong chairside skills, along with excellent communication and confidentiality. On-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification and/or credentials as required for assigned duties.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, materials, and procedures.
• Experience supporting dentists during examinations and procedures.
• Proficient in infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Ability to maintain patient documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment.
• Disinfect treatment rooms promptly after procedures.
• Follow infection-control, sterilization, OSHA, and safety protocols.
• Sterilize and store instruments properly.
• Take dental radiographs as permitted by certifications.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide post-operative instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient histories.
• Support lab cases and manage room readiness and patient flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of operatories and workspaces.
• Communicate professionally with patients and team members.
• Participate in meetings and training as required.
• Assist other clinical staff to ensure smooth operations.
