Smile Brands Inc. is hiring a Dental Assistant in Washington. You will support the dental team, assist procedures, and maintain a clean, organized environment.

The ideal candidate communicates well, is caring and professional, and can start within a month in a fast-paced setting. The position offers Fri 8-5 and Sat 8-4 shifts, with benefits based on status and hours worked, including PTO and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Washington RDA active required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after treatment.
• Take digital dental X-rays accurately using dexis software.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort and information.
• Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the dental software.
• Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist during procedures.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
