Artistic Dentistry in Houston seeks a qualified Dental Assistant to prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and support the dentists during procedures. You will take and process X-rays, maintain patient records, and help with scheduling and billing.

The ideal candidate has 18+ months clinical experience, completion of a certified dental assistant program, and radiographic certification. Coronal polishing is a plus; a positive team player with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified dental assistant training program is required.
• Radiographic certification is required.
• Coronal Polishing is a plus, but not required.
• Minimum 18 months of clinical experience as a dental assistant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure equipment is ready for dentists.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process X-rays of patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
• Greet patients and schedule appointments; advise on oral hygiene.
• Provide post-operative instructions and support other administrative duties.
